What are the symptoms of coronavirus?
The virus causes pneumonia.
The symptoms are like flu:
Returning to UK from China or other specified areas
If you have arrived home from Wuhan city or Hubei Province in the last 14 days:
If you get any symptoms within 14 days of returning from other parts of China (including Macao and Hong Kong), Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Republic of Korea, Taiwan or Malaysia, follow the same advice and inform NHS 111 of your recent travel.
If you feel unwell:
Do not go to work or school or visit any public places.
Avoid having visitors to your home, except for those briefly dropping off food and supplies.
If you have returned from a restricted area, do not use public transport or taxis for the 14 day period.
If you develop a fever, cough or difficulty breathing and have recently returned from an infection hot spot or have encountered someone who has, seek medical advice on NHS 111 as soon as possible.
