Training Needs

SkillGate offers a range of ways to collect and collate training needs in your organisation.

Training Requests can be collected via performance management interactions (Annual Appraisal, One to Ones etc.) or less formally via the Find a Course option. For a more structured approach organisations can use the SkillAudit system.

Request an External Course

Users may request an external course, and submit the request for authorisation by a line manager and/or administrator.

Administrators can manage the booking like any other using the Classroom software. They also have the option of including selected external courses in their Library if they wish.


SkillGate's SkillsAudit allows delegates and managers to select competencies relevant to their jobroles, and then grade their skills against targets recommended for those competencies in that jobrole.

The system can also automatically recommend training solutions where skills need development and add them to a Users training Plan.
