A chance meeting between SkillGate Director, Amanda Page, on holiday in South Africa and a South African doctor has led to a very exciting opportunity for SkillGate to help support a South African charity project.

ProVision NGO works with young disadvantaged high school students in South Africa from the poorest communities to empower them with further education in the form of training, mentoring and resources so that they can go on to pursue successful careers.

ProVision NGO’s Founder, Dr Junaid Ismail’s, vision for the charity is “for a future where every young person, regardless of background, can reach their full potential through quality education and support”.

SkillGate is thrilled to be part of this initiative and has provided ProVision with their own branded Learning Management System and a large suite of online courses – the Infinity Library – to support the extensive face to face workshops that the charity offers their young students.

Following the recent launch of the system, students now have access to a large array of online training courses and resources in areas such as interpersonal skills, writing skills, finance, management, IT skills, customer service and sales and Wellbeing, and much more.

SkillGate looks forward to supporting ProVision’s continuing journey to create a better future for young people.
