- How long does it take to be up and running with SkillGate’s Academy10 LMS?

This depends on the complexity of your system requirements. Very simple systems can be up and running in 24-48 hours, more complex systems may take 2-3 weeks, and very complex systems will take 4-6 weeks to fully set up.
- If we already have an LMS how easy is it to switch?

Switching LMSs couldn’t be easier! We have extensive experience transitioning clients from third-party LMS platforms to the SkillGate LMS, including the migration of all historical data. This process will not delay your set-up – rest assured, we’ve got you covered!
- Can SkillGate integrate with my HR system?

In a word – yes. The SkillGate LMS will integrate with your existing HR and training platforms, streamlining your processes and eliminating the need for manual data entry.
- How does SkillGate’s Compliance Management System achieve such high compliance rates?

In addition, the SkillGate App is available, allowing users to complete courses anytime, anywhere. Once downloaded, users can log in just once for uninterrupted access to all their training, ensuring a smooth, on-the-go learning experience, wherever they are.
- Why is SkillGate’s self-development library called Infinity?

Quite simply, because it is so huge and is always growing! There are thousands of self-development training resources in the Infinity Library, in a variety of formats – from micro-lessons to Certificate programmes.
We regularly add new courses based on customer feedback, trends and workplace developments. The self-development training options are infinite!
- Does SkillGate offer performance management solutions?

- Can you buy add-on features and additional licences as and when required?

Our systems are scalable and flexible so you can purchase more user licences and switch-on additional features as and when you need them.
- Will I get an Account Manager that I can speak to?

Yes – we are strong believers in the importance of the ‘human touch’. You will get a dedicated Account Manager who will be familiar with your system and will be available to speak to you over the phone, email and video link whenever you need them. All calls to our Account Management team are answered by real people, and if your Account Manager is unavailable for any reason, another member of the team will be able to assist you.
- Does SkillGate’s Classroom Booking System integrate with Outlook?

Yes – the Classroom Booking System integrates with Outlook and iCal.
Course reminders, booking, cancellations, waiting lists, attendee lists, a capacity planning tool, integration with Traffic Light for compliance courses, you name it… the Classroom Booking System does it!
- Can I make my own courses?

Our SmartAuthor authoring tool is quick and easy to use and will help you create interactive and engaging courses in a wide range of different course formats.
- Can I run courses from other providers on the SkillGate Academy10 LMS?

We are SCORM 1.2 compliant so courses made by other training providers can be imported by you or us and run through and reported on within the Academy10 LMS.
- Are SkillGate’s compliance courses kept up to date with new legislation?

We conduct a twice-yearly Regulatory Library Review in April and November. Our authors go through every course in our generic compliance course library and cross-reference with changes in legislation, statistics and best practice.
If there are major changes in legislation outside of these times, we ensure that changes are made to affected courses immediately.
- Does SkillGate offer foreign language options?

Yes – The Academy10 LMS and SkillGate’s training courses can be translated into different languages.
